The steps are not meant to be worked in isolation. It is highly recommended that the steps be worked with the help of a sponsor, co-sponsor, or in conjunction with a Step-Study.

    1. One of the options for performing a moral inventory is to do a self-assessment using the recovery patterns by highlighting or placing a check next to the most troublesome areas.
